GV II

House. C16 or earlier with later additions and alterations. Timber framed and
plastered with exposed frame to the 3 left original gables and C20 right gabled
crosswing. All gables jettied, plastered range between. Red plain tiled roofs.
3 octagonal red brick chimney stacks with moulded bases and capping, that to
left with 2 attached shafts. 2 storeys. 3:3:1 window range of C20 diamond
leaded 3 light casements excepting ground floor right with 2 C20 round head
windows with glazing bars. Plank and muntin door to centre range. To the left
is a C20 single storey garage/outbuilding range of similar materials with
hanging knees to uprights and gable to left. Interior contains doorway with 4
centred arch, restored red brick inglenook fireplace, mullion window, jowled
storey posts. 2 armed crown post roof to rear range. Moulded ceiling joists. A
red brick culvert arch is visible below the rear range.
