House. Circa 1500 or earlier with rear range and later alterations. Timber
framed. C19 red brick faced. Double range red plain tiled roof. Off centre
right and external left red brick chimney stacks. 2 storeys and attics. 3
window range of Cl9 3 light casements with centre transoms, segmental arches
over. Moulded 3 panelled door, reveal panels, flat canopy on moulded brackets.
Interior features include a fine circa 1500 ceiling to ground floor with moulded
and run out stop chamfered bridging and ceiling joists, formerly jettied to
front of house. Jowled storey posts. C19 staircase with pierced balusters. Rear
wing with heavy bridging joist and sloping ceiling joists. Later side purlin
roof.
