House. C16 of possibly earlier origin with later, including C20 alterations.
Timber framed and plastered. Red plain tiled roof. Central chimney stack to
right range. Of 2 builds, lower left range with gabled crosswing to right. 2
storeys. 2:2 C20 window range, with no first floor windows to crosswing. 3
window range to right return. Interior features to right range include, back to
back inglenook (restored), stop chamfered bridging and ceiling joists, simple 2
armed crown post roof. Left range, large stop chamfered bridging and ceiling
joists, jowled storey posts originally with arched braces to tie beams. Side
purlin roof. At one time known as Jewers.
