TM 02 SE FRATING OFF CHURCH ROAD

6/31 Frating Hall

GV II

House. C16 or earlier timber frame with C18 and C19 red brick facing and
extensions. Red plain tiled roofs. Chimney stack to right of front range. 2
storeys. 3 first floor vertically sliding sashes with glazing bars, plastered
gauged arches. Right and left French windows with glazing bars, that to left
bowed, segmental pointed heads. Central 2 panel 4 light door, moulded
surround, lion mask patera, flat canopy, reveal panels. C18/C19 internal
features include 6 panelled doors, moulded surrounds, acorn patera. Segmental
arch to hall. Moulded fire surrounds, moulded cornices. Heavy timber frame to
rear range with ceiling and stop chamfered bridging joists visible. RCHM 2.
