5/83 Barn to North East of
Little Hallingbury Hall

II

Barn, Early C14. Timber framed with part thatch part grey slate,
1/2 hipped roof. Part weatherboarded part brick clad walls. An aisled
barn of 5 large bays, with jowled aisle posts with passing braces. Splay
scarfs to arcade plates. Arch braces to purlins and aisle posts. Soulaces
to collars. Aisle walls, probably bricked in Late C17.
