Late C16 house, extended in early C17. Timber framed and plastered, with red plain
tile roof. Timber frame exposed externally. 2 storeys. Centre range C16. West
wing C17, and modern jettied east wing. 3 window range modern leaded casements, and
one original diagonal mullion window. Late C16 red brick central chimney stack with
attached diagonal shafts. Modern single storey extension, to east end, with red
plain tile hipped roof. Internally are many original features, and reused material
from elsewhere. C15 entrance door and surround are reused as is C17 panelling and
overmantel. (RCHM 38).
