House. Late C16 with crosswing, possibly earlier. Timber framed and plastered with gabled peg tile roofs. Of two storeys with formerly jettied crosswing at north end. Small ridgeline stack with front door below in baffle entry position. Windows are C20 casements with small panes. Main block has straight internal wall braces and inserted floor. Crosswing has central tennoned floor joists and cambered tie beam. Moated site.
