TL 62 NE STEBBING DUCK END
2/343 Forge Cottage (formerly listed
25.10.83 as The Forge)

Cottage C17 or earlier with later alterations. Timber framed and plastered
with red bricked extension to right. ½ hipped red plain tiled gambrel roof
with 3 gabled dormers. 3 window range of small paned casements. Two boarded
doors, the one to the right with a slanting red tiled porch and approached by
steps. Two red brick chimney stacks. There is a rear wing to this property.
Duck End Forge recorded as "The Blacksmith's Arms" 1937.
