Sewer ventilation pipe. C19. Cast-iron. Manufactured by
?(illegible) Engineers, 11 Great Battle Street. Rectangular
plinth with fluted column having beaded moulding at base and
concentric moulding at top forming base of openwork lantern
with gadrooned dome and finial. An unusual survival of this
once common feature.
