Terraced house with later shop. 1764-1770, altered. Built by W
Franks, W Richmond, H Roydhouse and J Prichet. Multi-coloured
stock bricks. Slated mansard roof with dormers. Stone cornice.
Stucco 1st floor sill band. 3 storeys, attic and basement. 3
windows. Stucco ground floor with C20 shopfront and house
doorway. Gauged red brick arches to recessed sash windows.
Parapet. INTERIOR: not inspected. HISTORICAL NOTE: home of
Coventry Patmore, poet and essayist, 1863-4 (GLC plaque).
