Parish church. C13 origins, predominantly C14, with C15 alterations. Mainly cobblestones, some ironstone rubble, ashlar dressings. Clay tile roofs, except slates to vestry. Chancel, N vestry, nave, N and S aisles, S porch tower. Chancel: C13, windows and doorways reworked C15 and restored C19. 3-light pointed arched E window. 2 2-light S windows with 4-centred heads. Similar window to N partially blocked by vestry. S doorway with 4-centred arch in square head. C19 doorway and arch give onto C19 vestry and organ chamber. Nave: C14 4-bay pointed-arched arcades to both sides. Similar style chancel arch. 4-light pointed-arched W window with reticulated tracery. N aisle: C14. 3 2-light pointed-arched windows to N, one to W, with variety of tracery. 3-light E window onto organ chamber. Pointed- arched N doorway. S aisle: C14.3 3-light S windows, one 3-light E window, 2- light W window, all with pointed heads and with variety of tracery. S doorway similar to N one. Stone coping to gables, plain parapets to aisles. S porch tower:C14. 2 stages. 3-stage diagonal buttresses to S angles, early C20 embattled parapet. Pointed-arched S doorway. 2-light pointed-arched windows to lower stage W and E. Pointed-arched single lights to bell-stage. Interior: nave arcades have carved label stops in form of human and animal heads. C14 font, restored C20, has square bowl on octagonal shaft and 4 columns. Chancel has brass in floor to Thomas Hundon, Vicar, d.1528. C19 roofs. Some early pewing to nave, otherwise C19. Fragments of medieval glass in chancel N window.
