MAULDEN

TL 0437 AMPTHILL ROAD

13/56 No. 12 (Willow End)

GV II

House, formerly a pair of cottages. Early C19. Colourwashed roughcast render
over light timber frame. Hipped thatched roof. 4-room plan, one storey and
attics, with semi-circular ends. C20 casement windows, mostly with glazing
bars, 2 flanking doorway and 2 at each end. Eyebrow dormers, one to each end
and one to centre of front. 2 original doorways blocked, replaced by C20
central door. 2 red brick ridge stacks. Included for group value.
