Row of cottages. C18 with C19 alterations. Timber framed construction with
colourwashed roughcast render. Gabled clay tile roof to Nos. 229 ano 231,
slated gambrel roof to No. 233. 5-room plan overall, 2 storeys. LH block
(Nos. 229 and 231) has canted bay window with casements and sash window to
ground floor, and 3 different casements with glazing bars to first floor. 4
moulded panel door to centre, plank door to RH. Crested ridge tiles to roof.
Red brick integral stack to L gable end. RH block (No. 233) has one 3-light
and one 2-light casement to each floor, mostly with glazing bars. Plank door
to RH. Central red brick ridge stack recently removed.
