Cottages and attached barn, Nos. 45-47: Two room cottage of C16 or C17
origins with C19 unit attached to west and barn at right angles to it.
Coursed limestone rubble, colourwashed plaster over timber frame, thatched
roof. One storey and attics. Front elevation renovated in C19 with two
tall narrow gabled dormers and four ground floor 2-light casements, all with
diamond leaded panes. C19 extension is one storey with tall thin gabled
porch. Barn attached to west is thatched and weatherboarded with half-hipped
gable end to road.
No. 49 has materials similar to Nos. 45-47. East gable end is half-hipped
with panelled pargetting. One gabled dormer at rear, two eyebrow dormers at
front with leaded lights. Three 2-light casements with glazing bars.
