Earlier C19 pair of houses. Stucco, hipped Welsh slated roof. 3 storeys, 5
full height incised Doric pilasters. 4 sash windows with glazing bars. 2
doorways
with narrow Doric pilasters under cornice hoods, 6 panelled doors with 2 panels
flush, geometrical glazing bars to fanlights. C19 shop on right with later
alterations. 2 end passageways have round headed arches.

Nos 40 to 50 (even) form a group.
