TL 06SE BOLNHURST AND KEYSOE HARDWICK END, KEYSOE

GV II

House. C16 with later alterations. Timber framed with some plaster infill, some
brick casing, some rough case, the whole colour washed except for some exposed
timbering to NE wing. Thatched roof. Original open hall and cross-wing plan, the
hall, floored mid Cl7, now one storey and attics. SW elevation: one 2-light casement
to each floor of cross-wing. One small casement and 2 2-light casements to main
block ground floor, one dormer with 2-light horizontal sash, off-centre plank door.
Red brick ridge stack. Half-hipped roofs to both blocks. NE gable end of cross-
wing is jettied and has external brick stack.
