Farmhouse. Dated 1664 over east door. Rendered; double Roman tiled roof;
rendered stacks, diagonal over parlour chamber. 2 storeys and attics in steep
stone gables. 3 bays: 2-, 3- and 4-light casement windows; blocked lights on
the upper parts of the attic. Central C20 door. C19 lean-to extension to
right. The rear elevation (formerly the front) has a 2 storey gabled projecting
porch; plank studded door in double ovolo moulded surround with elaborate stops;
projecting, to the left, is a 3 storey stair tower; the windows have ovolo
moulded mullions. Interior. Parlour: stop chamfered beams; fireplace with
ovolo moulded, 4-centred lintel; double spice cupboard to the right with incised
panels, and above are plaster overmantels with rose and fleur-de-lys patterns in
squares and lozenges. Hall: stop chamfered beams and fireplace with moulded
lintel. Newel stair. Parlour chamber: plaster overmantels as in parlour;
carved surround to fireplace. Roof: extended collar beam trusses.
