House with store below. Circa early to mid C19. Stone rubble; slate-hung on seaward
side probably over light scantling timber frame. Cement-washed slate roof with half-
hipped ends and rendered brick end stacks. Built into side of steep slope with store
on lower side facing harbour and Fore Street at higher level behind.
Double depth plan with entrance from Fore Street on left-hand side.
Seaward elevation on south of 3 storeys. Regular 2-window front with entrance to
store on right and 2 C19 hornless 12-pane sashes to first and second floors. Fore
Street elevation with C19 hornless 12-pane sashes.
Interior not inspected.
Lanroe remains relatively unaltered and contributes to the picturesque harbour of
Port Isaac.
