SW 97 NE ST ENDELLION
4/1 Clegh Nur, 250m to west of
- St Endellion Church

House. Circa mid C18. Rendered and painted stone rubble and cob with slate roof
with gable ends. Projecting stone rubble chimney stack on left-hand gable end and
brick chimney stack on right-hand gable end.
Plan probably either a 2 room and through passage plan with wide central passage or
alternatively a pair of 1-room cottages with pair of entrances near centre of
elevation. Rear projecting wing circa C20 on right and lean-to outshut to rear of
left-hand room.
2 storeys almost symmetrical 3-window front. Ground floor with 2 tall, probably
early to mid C20 2-light casements flanking C20 door in wide open porch. First floor
with 3 similar casements in gabled half-dormers.
Interior with roughly cut ceiling beams, C20 chimney piece in left-hand gable end
and small open fireplace in right-hand gable end with unmoulded lintel. Relatively
unaltered.
