Lodge to Shockerwick House, now two houses. Bated 1897 on pediment, by George
and Yeates. Ashlar with banded quoins; hipped slate roof; large central
stack with quoins; cornice and continuous pulvinated frieze. In the manner shortly
to be made popular by Edwin Lutyens. 2 storeys. West elevation: 4 bays, centre 2
in advanced section with quoins and segmental pediment. 2- light casement windows,
those to left with shutters; cill band. Side elevation: 2 oval windows in square
paints with keystones. French doors.
