House. C17 with C19/C20 wing and early C20 alterations. Roughcast timber
framing. Wing of brick. Old tile roof; stone and brick central stack has old
brick dog-tooth cornice and upper part. 2-unit baffle entry plan, with wing at
right angles on left. 2 storeys; 3-window range. Large 2-storey jettied porch,
said to be from a demolished house in the village, has moulded Tudor arch. Sides
have screens of turned balusters. Interior has benches. C20 panelled door. C20
leaded moulded wood mullioned windows, mostly of 3 lights, throughout. C20
canted bay between porch and wing. Tile hanging above. Single-light window.
Small 2-light window to right of porch. Window to right and bay have transom.
Irregular wing has C20 leaded casements. Rear it irregular. Interior: some
exposed framing. Open fireplace with moulded bressumer. Room to right has C18
round-arched corner cupboard with keyblock, possibly brought in from elsewhere.
