House. c.1840. Brick, stuccoed. Hipped roof of slate with deep overhang at
eaves, boarded. Internal stacks. Double-pile plan. 2 storeys. South front framed
by giant pilasters. 3 first floor 9-pane hung sashes, including 2 blocked. At
ground floor Roman Doric portico with moulded cornice and flat roof, leaded.
Doorway in round-headed arch with half-glazed door and 4 flush panels. Two
full-length hung sashes of 15 panes on either side of doorway. In west wall a
single storey canted bay with paired corner pilasters and later C19 hung sashes
with horns. In the east wall original 2-storey bay with giant pilasters.
