Pair of cottages. Circa early C18. Rendered stone rubble and cob with rag slate
roof with gable ends to left-hand cottage and asbestos slate roof with gable ends to
right-hand cottage. Large rendered chimney stacks on gable ends.
Pair of cottages each with 2 rooms heated from gable end stacks and central cross
passage. Right-hand cottage with further 1-room service range added on right-hand
gable end.
2 storeys regular overall 4-window front. Both cottages with circa late C19 2-light
casements. Left-hand cottage with rendered brick porch with slate lean-to roof and
plank door near centre. Right-hand cottage with stone rubble porch and rag slate
roof with C20 door to left of centre. Unaltered rear elevations.
Interior of left-hand cottage with circa C19 slight ceiling beams with large kitchen
fireplace on left-hand. Water pump in front garden.
Interiors not fully inspected.
