House. C18 rebuilding of earlier house destroyed by fire, with C20
alterations. Brick with hipped tiled roofs. Square plan with double
pitch roof. 2 storeys and attic, slight corbel at eaves and band at first
floor. South Elevation: 3 hipped dormers with C20 leaded casements, 3
glazing bar sashes on first floor, central re-set stone with plain shield
and initials R C above C20 glazed door in re-set moulded stone surround
dated 1574 on lintel under C20 flat hood on thin supports, flanked by tall
glazing bar sashes with slightly arched heads under brick arches with painted
keystones. East Elevation: 3 irregular C20 sashes in much patched and
altered brickwork, to right C20 glazed door in re-set stone surround with
A IC 1602 on lintel all within C20 doorcase of open pediment and tuscan
pilasters.
