House. C17, altered C18. Timber framed with brick infill 2 north bays,
south bay clad in brick on east side. West elevation 2 south bays
brick upper floor, rubblestone lower part. Street or north gable
elevation rubblestone ground floor, tile hung upper floor. South east
single storey brick bay with weatherboard east gable, remainder of
forge: now mainly demolished. Old tile roof. 3 bays and 2 storeys. West
elevation has north bay with exposed framing. Casement and sash windows.
Street front has 1 sash and blocked door at right. East side has
door, 2-light window; first floor has 2-light leaded casements;forge
has north door. Stack between south bays.
