Public House. C16 altered. Timber framed with painted stucco front.
Old tiled roof with 5 brick chimneys, 2 small swept dormers to RH part.
2 storeys and attic. RH part has two 4-light upper casements, two
C19 canted bays to ground floor flanking modern glazed door with hood
on brackets and 2-light casement to RH. C18 wrought iron sign bracket
over door. LH part has two 2-light and one 3-light upper casements,
modern door approached by 4 steps flanked by 3-light casements. Single
light casement to LH. Far LH bay (part of N.W. Bank) has door approached
by steps and 4-light casement. LH gable has chequer brickwork. Interior:
truss with arch braced collar reported.
