Pair of cottages c1780. Plastered cob walls, hipped thatched roofs, brick end stacks. Two storeys. Ledged door. Ground floor has three cross-pattern windows with lead lights - that in No. 40 with diamond panes. First floor has three casements with lead lights - that in No.40 with diamond panes.
