Detached house. Early C19, but may incorporate earlier buildings at the rear.
Date stone on rear porch 1824 - possibly re-set. Plastered walls: slate roof
with parapet. Plastered stacks, one at left end, one on front extension.
2 storeys and attic. 2-storeyed flat-roofed extension at front. This has 2
sash windows with glazing bars on ground floor, in front wall. In return wall,
panelled door under flat hood on shaped brackets, and one sash window with
glazing bars on each floor. In the main block, ground floor has a 3-light
sash window with glazing bars. First floor has 2 sash windows with glazing
bars. Attic has 2 hipped dormers with glazing bars. Service range at rear at
lower level - appears to have been a separate cottage. This 2-storeyed, with
casement windows.
