6/129 The Old Rectory

Former Rectory in garden. Early C19. Rubble-stone walls, stuccoed. Pyramid
slate roof. 2 rendered stacks in the middle of the front pitch. Two storeys
and attics. 3 bays, and one service bay at left hand. Sashes with thin glazing-
bars, crown glass, stone cills. 2 blind windows at right hand. Porch at centre
of north wall, square, single storey, with Roman Doric pilasters, plain
entablature and cornice. One sash with architrave in north wall of porch.
Front door, on east face of porch, wood with 6 recess panels, C19. South front
of house, has a round-headed doorway at centre with fanlight and cast-iron
glazing-bars. Ribbed 6-panel door, C19.
