Terrace of 3 houses including a surgery. Dated 1901 on Old Library. Rubble
stone walls with ashlar dressings, double Roman tile roof, brick end and
centre stacks. 2 storeys. The Old Library - at left end, has ledged door
in 4-centred arch, with hoodmould. Ground floor has one 3-light stone
mullioned window with 4-centred arched lights. First floor has one plain
3-light stone mullioned window. The Cottage has ledged door in segmental
arch. Ground floor has one 3-light stone mullioned window with 4-centred
arched lights. First floor has one plain 3-light stone mullioned window.
The Surgery has panelled door in segmental arch, with, on left, a single-light
window as sidelight, with cast iron lattice glazing. Similar window right
of door. Also on ground floor a 3-light stone mullioned window with 4-centred
arched lights. First floor has two 2-light stone mullioned windows. All
windows have casements with horizontal glazing bars.
