Detached Cottage. Early C17, or earlier core, with C19 refenestration. Coursed
rubble-stone walls. Thatch roof, with gable-ends. Early C20 brick stacks at
left hand gable, and on ridge right of centre. 1 1/2 storeys. 4 windows, wooden
and iron casements with glazing-bars, of 2-, 3- and one light. Four 2-light
cast-iron casements to rear. Front door, left of centre, plank and weather-board,
C19. Pentice thatch porch canopy over, C20. Plank door to store at right hand
end, C19. Interior: heavy-chamfered ceiling-beams. Dog-leg stair on front wall,
right of entrance.
