Attached Cottage and former School House, at right angles. Cl7
with C18 refenestration to front. Rubble-stone walls, rendered
and painted cream. Thatch roof with decorative block ridging.
Brick stack, at left of centre ridge, and at junction of the
two ranges. 2 storeys. 3 windows, sashes with glazing-bars,
flush wooden frames. Front door, right of centre, with 4
fielded panels and 2 top lights. Bracketed open wood pediment
with dentil cornice, C19, architrave cut away, perhaps re-used.
Rear of cottage along Mill Lane, with datestone of 1792. Same
materials, no render. Two storeys. Two windows, 3-light cast-
iron casements with glazing-bars, wooden lintels. Two plank
doors towards left hand end.
