Early C19. Formerly a pair of cottages in "Cottage Orne" style. At right angles
to road. Plastered walls roughcast with smooth surrounds by openings. Thatch roof.
Brick stacks. Single storey. The centre section is recessed between projecting
blocks at each end. The east (entrance) front has an ornamental timber verandah
along the recessed section, that roof carried down over this. Two ledged doors,
one at each end of the verandah in the side walls of the projecting blocks.
The west front originally had 2 doors, in round-arched openings - one now converted
to a window. All windows have stone mullions and cast iron casements with
ornamental glazing incorporating some coloured glass.
