House. Circa late C18; altered and extended circa mid C20. Ground floor flint, stone and brick; first floor cob. Straw thatch roof with half-hipped and gabled ends, and eyebrow eaves at front.
PLAN: 2-room plan with central entrance, right-hand [NW] room heated from a gable-end fireplace, and an unheated left-hand room. Circa mid C20 wing behind the left room.
EXTERIOR: 1 storey and attic. Almost symmetrical 2-window NE front. C20 3-light metal frame casements in enlarged openings with tile cills. Central doorway with plank door. Rear [SW] C20 rendered gable-ended wing on right.
INTERIOR: Ground floor; left-hand room has thin chamfered axial beam without stops; right-hand room has roughly framed ceiling and C20 tiled fireplace. C20 joinery, including plank doors. Late C19 cast-iron chimneypiece in attic chamber; attics ceiled but principals visible.
