Boundary railings, gatepiers and gates. 1899-1901. Part of the design of the former Railwaymen's Convalescent Home built by A Saxon Snell for the philanthropist and sicial reformer J Passmore Edwards between 1899 and 1901. These comprise a low brick wall with stone top and railings with fleur de lys principals and scrollwork panels, incorporating a curved centre with six chamfered stone gatepiers with moulded caps and bases to central carriage and side pedestrian gates and four further gatepiers.
