Detached cottage. Probably C18. Plastered cob walls, with brick dressings,
hipped thatched roof, brick stack left of centre. At right angles to road.
The left section formerly an outbuilding. One storey and attic. Part glazed
door in brick porch with gabled tiled roof. Part glazed stable door in former
outbuildings. In original house part, ground floor has 3 casements with
glazing bars under timber lintels. Attic has 2 dormers with similar
casements. Some exposed ceiling beams. Large open fireplace with timber
lintel and remains of bread oven. The least altered of a group of similar
cottages in this area.
