Farmhouse, early C19. Flemish-bond brickwork with ashlar dressings and
rusticated ashlar quoins. Shallow pitched slate roof with overhanging
eaves and end brick stacks. U-plan. Symmetrical. 2 storeys, 3 bays.
Sashes, 12-pane to the upper floor and tripartite to the ground floor.
Flat gauged brick arches with stone keystones and moulded ashlar
architraves. Central round-headed doorway with rusticated pilasters
and fanlight. Panelled door.

The gatepiers are of rusticated ashlar with ashlar caps. (RCHM, Dorset,
vol V, p 38, no. 3).
