Pair of cottages at right end of terrace, originally one house. Late C16 - early
C17. Rubble stone walls, thatched roofs, brick stack left of centre. One storey
and attic. No. 72 has ledged door with glass panel. Ground floor has one UPVC
window. Attic has 2 dormers with similar windows. No. 74 has ledged door in
4-centred arched opening. Ground floor has one horizontally sliding sash with
glazing bars. Attic has one dormer with similar sash - centre glazing bars only.
Possibly of open-hall origin. (RCHM, Monument 73. Dorset. Vol. II).
