Pair of cottages -probably originally one house. C17 or earlier. Rubble stone walls,
thatched roofs, brick stack near centre. One storey and attic. No. 90 has ledged
door. Ground floor has one C20 casement u+der-brick arch. Attic has 2 dormers with
casements with centre horizontal bar. No. 92 has ledged door. Ground floor has one
casement with centre horizontal bar. Attic has 2 dormers-with similar casements.
Possibly of open-hall origin - dormers appear insertions. (RCHM, Monument 68.
Dorset. Vol. II). A National Trust property.
