House at left end of terrace, with attached outbuilding on right. Dated 1742 (RCHM).
House has coursed rubble stone walls, stone slate roof, brick end stacks. 2 storeys
and attics. Gabled porch with part-glazed door. Ground floor has 2 casements with
glazing bars under brick arches. First floor has 3 casements with glazing bars.
Attic has 2 gabled dormers with casements with glazing bars. At rear, niche
on west gable of wing, with some re-set C12 stonework - probably from Castle. Attached
outbuilding has rubble stone walls and stone slate roof. One storey and attic. Ledged
door under brick arch. Ground floor has blocked window with brick arch. Attic has
one gabled dormer with casements with glazing bars. (RCHM, Monument 62. Dorset.
