SY 9978 LANGTON MATRAVERS -

6/1 Daisy Cottage and Greenhayes

II

Pair of cottages. Late C18 - early C19. Rubble stone walls, stone slate
roofs, hipped at right end. Stone end and centre stacks. Daisy cottage, on
left, has ledged door. Ground and first floors each have one sash window.
Later flat-roofed extension on left, has stone walls with parapet. Ledged
door and casement windows in this. Greenhayes has lower extension at right
end, under catslide roof. Ledged door. Ground and first floors each have 2
sash windows and one casement window - the latter in the extension. RCHM
Monument 30 (Dorset Vol. II).
