Detached cottage. Early C18, extended to north in C19. Rubble stone walls,
stone slate roof, stone stacks, one at end and one nearer centre. One storey
and attic. Original section has gabled porch with ledged door. Ground floor
has 2 casement windows with glazing bars. Attic has 3 gabled dormers with
similar casements. Later extension at left end, has one hipped dormer with
similar casements. RCHM Monument 10 (Dorset Vol. II).
