Pair of cottages, originally one house, attached to No. 20. C17. Rubble stone
walls with some brick repair; thatched roof, with parapet to south gable, brick end
stacks. Two storeys. No. 21 has ledged door in gabled timber porch. Ground floor
has one horizontally sliding sash window with glazing bars. First floor has two
horizontally sliding sash windows with lead lights, one with chamfered mullions -
probably original. Main ground floor room has large fireplace - part built up, and
stop-chamfered sliding beam. No. 22 has ledged door in brick porch with gabled
roof. Ground floor has one double-hung sash window with glazing bars. First floor
has one horizontally sliding sash window with lead lights. Single-storey addition
on south has brick and stone walls and tiled roof, and one casement window replacing
a door. RCHM Monument 10.
