Detached water-mill - not in use. C18, enlarged in C19. Brick walls, with
rounded ironstone quoins to the south-east angle. South wall plastered.
Slate roof with coped gable on south. Weather vane at apex of this gable.
2 storeys. East elevation has stable door and one casement window with
glazing bars on ground floor. Loft door and one top-hung window on first
floor. Wheel replaced by turbine in late C19. Most machinery remains,
included hoist wheel on south gable. RCHM Monument 44.
