GV II

House. Late C18 with C19 additions. Pebble-dashed masonry; graduated green
slate roofs with brick chimneys; pantiled roofs to rear. Main block and
flanking wings. 2-storey, 5-bay front has 12-pane sashes, steeply-pitched roof
with raised verges and 2 C19 end chimneys; entrance, in left return within C20
porch, has renewed pedimented doorcase. Later C19 left wing to rear has single
tripartite window, steeply-pitched roof and left end chimney. 2-storey, early
C19 set-back right wing has a tripartite window on each floor; steeply-pitched
roof with raised right verge and truncated chimney. Gabled rear elevation of
right wing has remains of a Venetian window surround on ground floor and a 12-
pane sash above; C20 additions to rear not of special interest.
