An early C15 tiniber-trailed and plastered house of circa 1415 with a central hall and cross wings at the east and west ends. Altered in the c16 and added to in
the C17. The upper storey of both cross wings is jettied on the front. 2 storeys.
3 window range, double-hung sashes with glazing bars. Roof tiled. The centre
block has a small gable and the areas wings are hipped at the rear. The interior
has exposed timber-framing and good moulded ceiling beams. (RCHM 14 Gt Leighs).
