A timber-framed and plastered house, probably of Cl6 origin but much altered
in the C17 and C18. Built on an L-shaped plan it has gabled at each end of
the front and there is a central attic gable. 2 storeys and attics. 3 window
range, C20 casements, some with leaded lights. The doorway has panelled reveals
and a Tuscan porch. Roof tiled, with 2 old chimney stacks, 1 with 3 octagonal
shafts and 1 rebuilt. (RCHM 14).
