House. C17 with later additions and alterations. Timber framed and rough
rendered. Red plain tiled roofs. External red brick chimney stacks to right
and left. 2 storeys. 3 window range of C20 small paned casements. Central
C20 panelled door with semi-circular porch supported by 2 fluted columns and
2 fluted pilasters. 2 wings at rear,one with gambrel roof. Internal frame
with chamfered bridging joists and through bracing to walls. In prominent
position on a main road and forming an attractive group with farm buildings.
