Terrace of 10 cottages. 1876 for Robert Hunt and Co., Atlas Ironworks. Red
brick in Flemish bond with dressings of white brick, roofed with C20 grey
corrugated tiles. 2 storeys. 10-window range of original sashes of 16 lights,
many with original glass, with segmental arches. Paired plain doors with
segmental arches. The quoins and all window and door apertures are dressed with
contrasting white bricks. At 29 April 1986 all windows and doors were complete.
Central plaque inscribed 'Bellevue Cottages 1876'. This terrace is a rare
survival in Essex.
