5/73 Barn approx. 15 metres
West of Priory Farmhouse

GV II

Barn. C.1700. Timber framed, weatherboarded, roofed with handmade red clay
tiles. 5 bays aligned NE-SW with midstrey to SE. Tenoned and pegged hardwood
frame, arched braces to alternate tiebeams, primary straight bracing, SW end
wall rebuilt in softwood. Clasped purlin roof, rebuilt with some original
rafters, some softwood, and inserted ridge piece. Included for group value.
